and you have been discharged from any bankruptcy for at least 1 year,

TAXES AND FEES

There are 2 taxes when you buy from a dealer a total of , 12%
When you trade something in you get the tax credit for the trade in amount. For example you buy a car, no trade in the price is $5000 plus taxes = $5600 a total of $600 in taxes. If you traded a $3000 car in on the same deal, $5000 - $3000 trade in =$2000 + taxes on $2000 = $240 your only paying $240 in taxes.
There is also a $50 documentation fee, this includes a lien search and ICBC accident search.
So you buy a $5000 vehicle plus $50 doc fee, plus taxes =$ 5656 is the drive away price , our government thanks you !
All first nation status card holders, who register the vehicle to themselves are tax exempt when I deliver the vehicle to any reserve.

Non refundable deposits, here's how they work !
If you want to hold a vehicle so that you can get money together, you need $100 cash (no cheque ) per week of holding. We enter into an agreement on how long this is going to be. ie. you need me to hold it for 2 weeks , you need 2 hundred dollars. When you come back in 2 weeks the deposit goes towards the price we already agreed upon. If you don't come back , you lose the deposit . Hence the term " non refundable
deposit" . Please don't put a deposit down unless your very sure your buying the vehicle !
